Refund Policy

 

RETURNS

Australian Earring Company shall accept a return if the product is considered a manufacturing issue or faulty.  In this instance, the fault will be determined by Australian Earring Company.  The product shall then be returned to Australian Earring Company immediately upon the acceptance from Australian Earring Company to return the product.  Should the product be deemed as faulty by the Australian Earring Company, the product will be repaired or replaced with the same or similar product or value.  Australian Earring Company may issue a credit if there are no other means.

Australian Earring Company will not accept a return if the product has been mishandled, misused or mistreated in any way.  Should the item show signs of wear and tear or discolouration due to personal hygiene or chemical reaction, the Australian Earring Company will not be responsible for any such return or refund.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned and will not be accepted including most jewellery items unless by agreement with Australian Earring Company and only if it is due to a manufacturing fault. We also do not accept products that are intimate, cleanable or any items that have been misused or deliberately broken or sabotaged.

Additional non-returnable items:
* Gift cards

* Hold Deposits or Lay-by Deposits due to change of mind

* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted and this will be determined at the time of processing a refund.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.  Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
Australian Earring Company will not accept exchanges under any circumstances due to health & safety and hygiene reasons

Gifts
If the item was a gift , the purchaser must be the person to contact us in regards to a return or refund.  We will only send a refund to the purchaser.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

You should always consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing postage or shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item if you do not have your item tracked.
Gift Vouchers
There are NO returns, exchanges, credits or refunds on Gift Vouchers, all sales are final.
